About the Role:

As the Operational Lead you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Western Wellbeing Hub, working in partnership with the Clinical Lead to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered mental health services. You oversee day-to-day operations, clinical and operational governance, contract management, reporting, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring services align with Sonder's model of care and strategic objectives.

You lead the development and continuous improvement of multidisciplinary teams, championing the inclusion of lived experience through Peer Practitioners. You also contribute to the future growth of mental health services across metropolitan Adelaide by supporting strategic planning, driving service excellence, meeting performance targets, and promoting awareness of Sonder's mental health and community services within the local community.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in mental health and/or alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, with a proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience delivering recovery-oriented, person-centered services while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture that values lived experience.

• Strong operational management experience, including governance, accreditation compliance, quality improvement, risk management, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders through exceptional communication, professionalism, integrity, and sound judgement.

• Well-developed organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing environments, and deliver outcomes under pressure.

• Sound knowledge of the South Australian mental health and AOD service system, relevant legislation, professional standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

• Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

• Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)

• Employment is subject to compliance with Sonder’s Immunisation Policy. Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, all vaccinations and immunisations required for the role.
