About the Role:
Join our multidisciplinary team at the Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental Health Centre (NAMMHC) and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care to individuals experiencing mental health distress and requiring immediate support.
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop collaborative care and support plans, and deliver brief interventions to support guests accessing the service. You will also contribute to the design and delivery of therapeutic group programs where appropriate.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure coordinated, integrated care while participating in individual and group supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
In this senior role, you will provide clinical leadership alongside the Clinical Lead(s), Peer Lead and Senior Peer Practitioner. You will act as a key clinical escalation point, offering practice guidance, clinical consultation, and supervision to support the development and delivery of safe, evidence-based care across the team.

Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
A minimum 3 years' experience working in the area of mental health.
A minimum 2 years relevant professional development and or supervision.
Experience in delivery of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other evidence based
interventions.
Experience in assessing and treating clients with a range of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug problems
Applicants must hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines and membership to associated professional body:
Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist
Approved Masters or equivalent in psychology, with experience of three (3) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
Registered as a psychologist with AHPRA.
Clinical Psychologist:
To be recognised as a clinical psychologist, personnel must meet requirements to have practice endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia in specialist area of practice of clinical psychology
Mental Health Nurse
Mental Health Nurses must be accredited with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
Experience of three (3) years or more in clinical mental health settings.
Social Worker
Accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Experience of three (3) years or more in clinical mental health settings.
Occupational Therapist
Registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
Approved degree from a recognised School of Occupational Therapy.
Experience of three (3) years or more in clinical mental health settings preferably community based.
Other Requirements:
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
Current Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Training
Employment is subject to compliance with Sonder’s Immunisation Policy. Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, all vaccinations and immunisations required for the role
