Salary: $142,109 - $147,707 per year (inclusive of a 5% annual regional allowance) + Super + PD Allowance

About the Role:
The Centre Lead is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and clinical oversight of a headspace centre, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and youth-friendly mental health services.
This role combines operational management with clinical leadership (preferred), supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver developmentally appropriate, person-centred care aligned with the headspace model and organisational priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, youth-focused services
Overseeing day-to-day service operations, clinical governance, and service performance
Ensuring services are accessible, responsive, and focused on early intervention and positive outcomes for young people
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and community partners
Contributing to strategic planning, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Providing clinical leadership and escalation support for complex or high-risk presentations (preferred)
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience leading, supervising, and developing multidisciplinary teams
Experience managing or coordinating services within a complex health or community services environment
Experience in governance, quality improvement, and compliance processes
Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder and community relationships
Experience in service planning, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
Demonstrated experience in youth mental health service delivery, including at a clinical level (preferred)
Strong experience in clinical oversight, including triage, assessment, and intervention for young people (preferred)
Qualification and Other Requirements:
Applicants must hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines:
Psychology
Social Work (with Mental Health Accreditation – AASW)
Occupational Therapy (with Mental Health Endorsement)
Nursing (Registered Nurse with Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status)
Completion of a leadership program or course (accredited or non-accredited)
Relevant postgraduate or management qualifications (e.g. Clinical Redesign, MBA, or similar)
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
