About the Role:

We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join Sonder’s Country Clinical Care and Coordination (Country CCC) program. The program supports people with severe mental health needs being managed in primary care, aiming to improve access to appropriate interventions, maximise recovery, prevent escalation, and provide wrap-around, coordinated care for individuals with complex needs.

In this role, you will deliver evidence-based psychological therapies within a primary care setting, working with clients who have complex mental health presentations. You will also provide care coordination, facilitate referrals, and link clients with appropriate services as part of a stepped care approach.

This position delivers in-person services across Kadina, Port Pirie and Clare. Travel is supported with a pool car, with KPIs adjusted to reflect travel requirements. Base location is flexible.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Mental Health Clinician within a fast paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Demonstrated experience working with adults with severe and complex mental health needs.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Mental Health Clinician delivering evidence based mental health interventions and assessments.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

• Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

• Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)

• Current Driver's Licence

Applicants must hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines:

• Psychology

• Social Work – with Mental Health Accreditation through the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

• Occupational Therapy – with Mental Health Endorsement recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia

• Nursing – must be a Registered Nurse with Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
